Frank and Maikel achieve Apple Certified Support Professional certification

apple certified support professional

At Analyst ICT, we continue to continuously invest in knowledge and quality. Last week Frank Houtappels and Maikel Michelbrink officially received the title Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) achieved.

A great milestone. But more importantly, good news for our customers.

Apple in SMEs: powerful, but not obviously simple

More and more organizations are working with MacBooks, iMacs and other Apple devices. This works comfortably, quickly and stably.
But in a business environment, Apple also brings questions:

  • How do you set up macOS securely and manageably?
  • How do you integrate Macs into a Microsoft 365 environment?
  • How do you ensure security and compliance?
  • What do you do in case of failures or performance problems?
  • How do you prevent Apple workstations from becoming “islands” within your IT landscape?

Apple is user-friendly. But professional management requires specialized knowledge.

What is an Apple Certified Support Professional?

The Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) is an official Apple certification for IT professionals who professionally manage and support macOS.
This certification demonstrates our in-depth knowledge of, among other things:

  • Installation and configuration of macOS
  • Security and privacy settings
  • Network configuration
  • User and rights structures
  • Troubleshooting according to Apple methodology
  • Best practices for business environments

It is not a marketing badge.
It is a substantive, technical exam that demonstrates that we work to Apple standards.

Specifically, what does this mean for you?

For you as a customer, this mainly means: certainty and peace of mind.

1. Better support

We can analyze Mac problems faster and solve them structurally. No trial-and-error, but a thoughtful approach.

2. Safer design

We make sure macOS is configured correctly in terms of security, updates and user management. This is essential for both continuity and compliance.

3. Stronger integration with your IT landscape

Many SMB environments are hybrid: Microsoft, cloud solutions, sometimes branch applications.
We make sure Apple devices fit in seamlessly.

4. Professional standard

As an MSP, we consciously invest in certifications. As with our ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certifications, it's all about quality and assurance.
With this Apple certification, we strengthen our role as a reliable IT partner.

Digital meets personal

ICT is people work. Especially with Apple environments, we see that users often have strong preferences. We understand that.
Our strength is not only in technique, but in explanation and guidance.
We make complex IT understandable and ensure that your employees can work pleasantly and safely.
This certification fits that perfectly.

Do you work with Apple in your organization?

Do you have Mac workstations or are you considering deploying Apple within your company? We are happy to think with you about setup, management and security.

As always applies with us: First think, then do.

Apple Business: Easier device management… but…
Managing laptops, smartphones, and tablets within your organization is becoming increasingly complex. Especially as employees work hybrid and you want to maintain control over security, updates, and usage. Apple is responding to this with Apple Business: a new platform designed to simplify device management. But the real question is: does this completely solve your challenges? The problem: growing number of devices, less oversight. Many SMEs recognize this: New employees receive devices that need to be set up manually. Apps and settings differ per user. Security is difficult to keep consistent. IT spends a lot of time on management and support. This leads to frustration,…

Why saving passwords in your browser is not a good idea
The blog post below was created in response to a question during our engineering meeting. Every two weeks, we get together with all of our technical staff to discuss the latest developments in technology or with clients. Good client questions also arise during these meetings, such as this one. Time to do some research. Thank you, Wiebe! You've probably experienced this: you log in to a website, and your browser asks if it should remember your password. Convenient, fast, and you don't have to remember anything. However, there's a risk involved. In practice, we see that many security incidents start with something small. Like saving passwords…
