Microsoft has begun automatically updating Windows 11 version 21H2 to 22H2. Previously, users had to manually download the latest version, but now it will be downloaded and installed automatically. Should you experience any problems because of this, you can of course contact us.
Microsoft is going to offer the update first to users who have been using version 21H2 the longest, writes the tech company in an update on its Web site. It is not clear how long it will take for everyone to be offered the update. If a user's device is found to be incompatible or there are other problems, the update will not be installed automatically until the problems are corrected.
Windows 11 version 22H2 was released last September. This version included tinkering with the taskbar and task manager. For example, after installing the update, users can open apps by dragging them onto the taskbar. It also gets an overflow feature, which puts apps in a separate menu if there is no more room for an icon on the taskbar. Furthermore, the task manager design has received a refresh and a dark mode. It has been possible to bring in the latest version manually via Windows Update since its release. Microsoft, by the way, promises still provide support for version 21H2 until Oct. 10, 2023.
