Who is Maikel Michelbrink?

Maikel Michelbrink

38 years old. Father of 2 boys. Born in Eersel, living in Hapert. Always been fascinated with computers. Old school gamer. World of Warcraft for those in the know. Huge fan of movies, cartoons / animation and comic books. By default have too many tunes, songs, titles and actors in my head. And a lot more of that kind of stuff. If it has to be done, well done!

Analyst ICT

Before Analyst , I held several positions in different industries.
But was always already drawn to ICT. Through all my work experience I do think I can put myself well in other people and companies. And also have been helping people for years! Say I don't know you from.... Yup, I worked in telephony and probably used to help you with a subscription or cell phone once. At Analyst ICT I got the chance to level up my skills to the next level. Or is it upgrading now?

How do you make ICT simple?

The best solution for the right situation. Super logical right? But often harder to realize. Listening well and trying to explain things simply and easily. But above all that you feel that you got really personal and appropriate advice. So talk to you soon!

Kick

Innovate! New techniques and then working with a customer to find an appropriate solution to the problem. And that it is clear to the customer, in their own words.

Lightning Round:
Marvel or DC: Marvel.
BBQ, Coal or gas: Coal!
Apple or Samsung: APPLE
Star Trek or Star Wars: Star Wars (No, it's not the same)

Golden tip

The answer is usually simpler than you think. Rebooting your device can solve a lot!

Calling out of bed

You can always try, as long as there's coffee....

Why saving passwords in your browser is not a good idea
The blog post below was created in response to a question during our engineering meeting. Every two weeks, we get together with all of our technical staff to discuss the latest developments in technology or with clients. Good client questions also arise during these meetings, such as this one. Time to do some research. Thank you, Wiebe! You've probably experienced this: you log in to a website, and your browser asks if it should remember your password. Convenient, fast, and you don't have to remember anything. However, there's a risk involved. In practice, we see that many security incidents start with something small. Like saving passwords…

Apple is taking a big step with Apple Business
Apple announced something special this week. Not a new device, but something that might be even more interesting for many organizations: Apple Business. A completely new platform with which Apple brings all its business services together in one environment. And frankly: this is a development that we at Analyst ICT are following with great interest. The problem: fragmented tools and unnecessary complexity Many organizations working with Apple will recognize the problem: Multiple portals (Apple Business Manager, Business Essentials, Connect) Different tools for management, branding, and support Additional costs for basic functionalities such as device management This leads to a lack of clarity and costs time. And…
