Superlogical! Analyst ICT undertakes socially and responsibly!

People Planet Profit

Corporate Social Responsibility is very important to us. We do business based on the People Planet Profit principle. It stands for the three elements that should be combined in a harmonious way: people, environment and profit. The idea behind this principle is that when these elements are not in harmony, other elements suffer.

People

At Analyst ICT, we select our talents at the gate. Because of our integral way of working, we value our team and mutual cooperation. We supervise our interns from each team and discipline. We let these students, adapted to his or her experience, participate as a full member of the team. As a result, it happens regularly that a follow-up internship is also conducted with us. We are proud that interns have been hired as colleagues in the past and even more proud that former colleagues have sought each other out again. Some colleagues have therefore been working together for more than 15 years, despite Analyst ICT being only a few years old.

Planet

At Analyst ICT, as a sustainable ICT service provider, we try to do business in the greenest way possible. The power Analyst ICT uses is completely green power. In addition, our office has a lot of windows which gives us a lot of light. For the darker days we use LED lighting. We strive to be a completely paperless company. Invoices go out the door digitally, and waste is recycled also for detail when it comes to batteries, everything is rechargeable and nothing of this is just thrown away.

Profit

Of course, many businesses cannot exist without making a profit. This part of the People Planet Profit principle, however, is about what you do back with that profit. We think it is important to invest in our employees by, among other things, increasing knowledge in the field of sustainability. We also like to contribute to a better environment for people, animals and nature, which is why we support various charities.

Kiva

This is one of the charities that Analyst ICT supports more often. Through Analyst ICT, (private) lenders can lend microcredit to entrepreneurs in developing countries so that they can eventually be independent and self-sufficient. Such a microcredit is used, for example, to start or expand a small business; a local farmer can use it to buy seeds or livestock, or a local car mechanic can use it to buy tools and parts. In the past nearly $15,000 has been able to help various entrepreneurs in more than 39 countries for 149 projects.

Shelterbox Netherlands

ShelterBox is an international disaster relief organization that brings emergency relief and emergency shelters to people affected by natural disasters or conflicts anywhere in the world. We don't wait, we take immediate action.

ShelterBox aims to provide affected people with a (temporary) home and additional resources so that they can quickly resume their lives. We provided one of ShelterBox's ambassadors with a laptop for presentations with the necessary explanation and support, of course, but have also supported ShelterBox financially in recent years.

Local and regional

Analyst ICT supports a host of local initiatives, often initiatives in which employees of Analyst ICT themselves are involved. Think of sports clubs and other charities. As long as it fits into our People Planet Profit policy, we are happy to contribute.

What are quantum computers? And why is everyone suddenly talking about them?
Chances are you've been hearing more and more about quantum computers in recent months. In the news, on LinkedIn, or perhaps even during conversations about AI and cybersecurity. Especially now that a Dutch chip developer is gaining global attention with a new generation of quantum chips, the technology suddenly seems closer than ever. But what exactly is a quantum computer? And why is so much expected of it? From Ordinary Computer to Quantum Computer To understand quantum computers, it's helpful to first look at how a normal computer works. A traditional computer — like your laptop or server — works with bits. A…

With our feet in the mud
Here we are. Not quite recognizable anymore, thanks to AI trying to protect children. Understandable, of course. But believe us: these really are Berry and Frank. More than ten years apart, but in reality, we've always been brothers from another mother. And what do we have in common? A lot... and at the same time, almost nothing. Berry is often the good cop. Calm, down-to-earth, and always working to get things done. I'm usually the bad cop. Direct, critical, and always looking for ways to improve. But that combination is precisely what works. What completely unites us, though, is our love for...

MacAdmins Meeting: What's relevant for your organization?
Last week, we attended the MacAdmins Meeting in Leiden. It's a gathering focused on Apple administration, security, and innovation. What stood out? Developments are moving fast. But more importantly: they are becoming increasingly relevant for SMEs. We'd like to share the key insights with you. What's happening? And what does that mean for your organization? Running AI Locally: Control Over Data and Costs AI is now everywhere. But one question remains central: where does your data reside? A significant topic during the meeting was running AI models (LLMs) locally. Instead of relying on external cloud platforms, more and more...
